Parents of children without special education school places say they need to know if a special school will open in Carrignavar next September.
The Minister of state responsible for special education says a new school is planned in the North Cork area for the next academic year.
Over 60 children in Cork do not have special education classes for next year.
Speaking to RedFM News, Nicole Hosford who is still looking for a school place for her daughter Libby says parents need answers immediately,
"We're being told all different stories, and we need an answer. We need an answer right now. Is Carrignavar happening in September or not? We can't end this summer coming in June and not know where the children are going, because once June comes, we're never going to hear anything about it. September will be here before we know it, and kids are going to be sitting at our kitchen table at home with us and it's not fair".
