Cork has been given another boost today with the announcement of hundreds of new jobs.
The Taoiseach made the announcement that Pfizer is to invest €300m in its Irish operations here in Cork, Dublin, and Kildare with the creation of 300 jobs.
A significant number of the jobs are expected to come on stream in Cork where the pharmaceutical giant has also announced the construction of an additional development facility at their Ringaskiddy site.
