Polling stations are now open for General Election 2024.
Voters are being reminded they don't need their polling card to cast their ballot, but they must bring a valid form of ID to the polling station.
More than 430,000 people across the city and county have registered to vote.
The polls will remain open until 10pm tonight.
Chief Executive of the Electoral Commission, Art O'Leary, has this advice for first time voters:
"Do bring some ID, bring your passport, a driver's license, or a student card, some sort of ID, and then when you get your ballot paper, start with one and work your way down as far through the ballot paper as you would like. Don't write anything else on the ballot paper. All we want to see are numbers."
