The ‘Borealis’ cruise ship is set to be the first to dock in Cobh for two years on the 15th of April.
2019 was the last full year of cruise ship tourism, with 100 ships docking and a record 243,000 passengers and crew visiting Cork.
Cruise Ireland and Port of Cork say the industry contributes around €14 million to the local economy every year.
