The Port of Cork are advising people that they will be carrying out a test of their emergency plan later this morning.
The External Emergency Plan for Flo Gas Ireland will take place between 10am and 12:30 this afternoon.
A number of emergency vehicles are taking part in the exercise and people are being reminded that there is no cause for alarm.
