It happened in Carrigaline yesterday
Emergency services were called to the scene at 9:30 last night, however the man in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident involved a tractor and the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation.
Gardaí say enquiries are ongoing.
