Power has been restored to most of Spain and Portugal following a widespread blackout.
A rare atmospheric phenomenon caused the two countries to shut down yesterday.
Clodagh Quilter from Ballinlough arrived into Faro Airport to view her wedding venue just before the power outage.
She told RedFM News yesterday's chaotic event made her feel lucky that her wedding isn't until next year:
"It was like being back in Covid, it was really aery around the place and then we saw a hotel got there power back and people were jumping up and down with happiness. We're coming over here for our wedding next year but we were saying if there were any weddings or big events on yesterday they definitely would have been cancelled."
