The school Cillian Murphy attended in Cork says it’s delighted that he won Best Actor at the Golden Globes.
Cillian did his Leaving Certificate and graduated from Presentation Brothers College in 1995.

The actor from Ballintemple beat fellow Irish actor nominees Barry Keoghan and Andrew Scott as well as Leonardo Di Caprio and Bradley Cooper.
Principal of Presentation Brothers College in Cork, David Barry says the school is proud that the Golden Globe winning actor went there:
"We're delighted for Cillian today, and for his family for his success at the Golden Globes, and I spoke to his tutor and mentor and former English teacher Billy Wall and he reminisced about the great times he had in school with Cillian."
