Residents from direct provision centres in Cork have turned out for the demonstration and say they're living in limbo and in constant fear of deportation.
It follows a recent campaign in Cork to save the Khan family from deportation.
The Edmund Rice Schools network also gave their support to the campaign to save their current and past pupils Hamza, Zubair, Umair and Mutjuba Khan from deportation.
