Yesterday's deluge of rain meant at least one Cork cafe had to postpone its reopening day after their premises was submerged in 3 feet of water.
Perry Street Cafe in Ringskiddy was left under water within minutes of yesterday's heavy rain - the shop floor was flooded and the building was surrounded in three feet of water.
Locals rallied to help staff stop the dirty water from flooding inside however the cafe will remain closed today to allow for a full clean up operation as their canopy area was submerged in water.
It's expected that Perry Street cafe will reopen tomorrow as normal.
