In a statement issued to RedFM News BMOR said that following a circuit court injunction, residents stood down the blockade and contractors are now back on site.
Residents first mounted the blockade at the start of this month to highlight their concerns about the construction of 44 new social houses saying they had not been consulted. The group said they would mount the protest until the developer engaged with them
BMOR said it had engaged with both the residents and the Council and said they had been left with no choice but to seek a Circuit Court injunction, which was granted yesterday after residents continued to block access to the estate.
This afternoon residents ended their blockade and the developers are now able to recommence works uninterrupted.
