Bus Éireann has acknowledged that there are issues around the punctuality of the 214 bus service, saying severe traffic congestion in recent weeks has affected the reliability of the service.
Members of the Mums of Glanmire Facebook group have raised the matter with Green Councillor Oliver Moran and he has presented their concerns to their party leader Eamon Ryan.
Bus Éireann says it carries out a daily review of punctuality, and amends services during the day to try to keep them to scheduled departure times.
