People living on Harbour View road in the City say they won't rest until their voices are heard.
Residents are staging a protest on the road this evening, demanding the introduction of traffic calming measures to prevent further serious collisions.
16 year old Kimberly O'Connor died after the car she was traveling in struck a wall near her home on Harbour View Road in February.
Her family say they don't want to see anyone else lose a loved one and are appealing for the Council to install speed bumps and pedestrian crossings in the area.
They also want a raised roundabout built close to the crash site to slow traffic.
Kimberley's aunt Valerie Haynes is one of the residents concerned about the amount of cars speeding through the area.
She told RedFM News that the roads of Knocknaheeny are being used like a motorway:
