Results on tests of substances in circulation in Cork are expected today.
It comes as the deaths of two men in the city on Friday are being investigated as possible drug overdoses.
The two men have been named locally as Shane Grimes and Shane O’Sullivan.
HSE head of drugs and alcohol services in Cork and Kerry David Lane told the Neil Prendeville Show a variety of substances were seized:
"We were kind on calls on Friday afternoon, when all this was happening. And yes, there has been some samples, gathered over the weekend, and have been sent for analysis, so we are hoping to get some results. There were a variety of substances ceased so there'll be different things, tested."
