Richard Satchwell, whose wife's remains were discovered underneath a stairwell in their East Cork home, will be tried in Dublin next year
His lawyers had applied for the case to be moved out of Cork
57 year old Richard Satchwell, with an address at Grattan Street in Youghal is charged with murdering his wife Tina at the address on the 20th March 2017.
He reported her missing a number of days later and more than six years later Gardaí discovered her skeletal remains underneath the stairwell of the home the couple shared in Youghal.
The trial remains scheduled for the 28th of April, despite the change of venue.
