A search was mounted off the Old Head of Kinsale shortly before 8.30am this morning after two swimmers were reported missing
RNLI Kinsale launched their inshore lifeboat to search for the swimmers missing between the Dock Beach and Sandycove
The two had been swimming with a group who raised the alarm when two of their party were reported overdue
The lifeboat crew began a shoreline search when an update came through that both swimmers had made it back to onshore unaided
The lifeboat was stood down at 8.50am
