It follows two fatalities on Cork roads this week.
A motorcyclist in his 30s and a woman in her 60s died in separate crashes outside Bandon and Mallow on Wednesday, bringing to 15 the number of road users killed on Cork roads so far this year.
It's the same number of fatalities on roads in the city and county last year, despite a three month Covid-19 lockdown.
Speaking to RedFM News Brian Farrell of the Road Safety Authority says people need to be aware of the risks:
