Cork District Court was told that 29 year old Ionut Cosmin Nicholescu with an address in Romania was unable to appear by video link as he is in isolation.
Judge Olann Kelleher further remanded Nicholescu in custody until December 20th when his 14 days of isolation will be completed.
Frankie Dunne's dismembered body was found at a derelict house on Boreenmanna Road on the 28th of December 2019.
Nicholescu was arrested at Dublin Airport last Friday.
