Ryanair say they can't comment on any talks with Cork Airport but say passengers won't be disappointed by their next announcement.
The budget airline has been based at the airport for 35 years and operates 240 flights to and from Cork every week.
Ryanair and Cork Airport are currently in discussions about next summer's schedule, with the airline believed to be poised to announce it's biggest ever summer schedule from Cork in the near future.
Both the airline and airport are remaining tight-lipped about the exact details.
Speaking to RedFM News, Head of Communications at Ryanair Jade Kirwan outlines what she can for now:
"We do have an announcement coming up in the next couple of weeks, I don't want to spoil any any news that's coming our way but I do just want to say that customers won't be disappointed and that all will be revealed in the coming weeks."
