Patrick O'Donovan was Leeside last week to discuss developments on the Lower Lee Flood Relief Scheme
The scheme has been opposed by the group which say it won't solve the problem long term and will affect the historic fabric of the city with its emphasis on raised quay walls.
The Minister confirmed to RedFM News that there were no plans currently to meet with the group and he moved to assure the city that the OPW is fully committed to mitigating flood risk in Cork City through the implementation of the €150 million project.
