This years’ Tour de Munster will be launched by one of the greatest cyclists of all time.
Sean Kelly will be taking part in the Field of Dreams Cycle in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland’s Cork branch on Sunday June 11th
Cyclists have the option to take part in a 100km or 50km route from Down Syndrome Cork’s Field of Dreams in Curraheen.
Sean Kelly is just back from commenting on the Giro d’Italia and will be covering the Tour de France from the start of July before taking part in the 600km Tour de Munster in August.
It’s the 23rd edition of the four day Tour de Munster which begins on the Grand Parade on Thursday August 10th and ends at the top of St Patrick’s Hill on Sunday 13th.
The charity cycle raises over €400,000 for Down Syndrome Ireland’s Munster branches every year.
