The owner of a bakery in Blackpool which was extensively damaged in a fire this morning says she is in shock
The blaze broke out at Healy's Bakery just before 7am and it took over an hour before firefighters were able to bring it under control
At the height of the fire residents of nearby apartments had to be evacuated however no one was injured
Access roads around Healy's Bakery on Great William O'Brien Street have been closed to allow for a technical examination
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Rachel Healy a confectioner at the bakery describes the scene
"I'm sitting outside with the fire brigade and the gardai, I am waiting for them to come back, they have shut off the water and electricity and I am just in shock to be honest. We have had hundreds of cake orders out for this week and for the weekend and obviously I can do nothing"
