A homecoming celebration for West Cork's Olympic rowers will be held in Skibbereen next month.
Two-time Olympic gold medalists Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy, Aoife Casey, Emily Hegarty and coach Dominic Casey will attend the event on September 1st.
The homecoming, planned by Skibbereen Rowing Club and the County Council, will see an open top bus parade through the town.
Thousands are expected to attend the parade which will be followed by a gathering at the Fairfield
