A employee at a steel works in Donoughmore is being treated for their wounds following a small explosion this morning.
Emergency services including the National Ambulance service and three units of the fire service responded to the incident at Forde Steel Buildings in Ballygirriha at 8:42am.
One person was injured and in a statement to RedFM News, the HSA say they are investigating the incident.
