Spike Island has launched a new exhibition of artwork titled 'Story'.
The artwork was created by prisoners in association with the Education Unit at Cork Prison.
Th exhibition focuses on memory and circumstance, with each artwork featuring a personal touch which remembers anecdotes and memoirs.
The Education Unit has been exhibiting on Spike Island annually since 2012, and the new artworks that are on display in the 1980 cells show accounts of incarceration, including the infamous prison riot of 1985.
