MTU say their four campuses across Cork are on course to re-open on Monday
14,000 students and staff have been impacted by a cyber attack last weekend which has seen the university's Cork campuses closed since Tuesday.
MTU are working with experts in the private and public sector to investigate the cause and extent of the attack and the most efficient recovery process however this is expected to take some time
A meeting of the Emergency Management Team is taking place at the college this afternoon where the roll out of a phased return to learning is set to top the agenda
A spokesperson for MTU says timetables will be back to normal for teaching and learning from Monday and students and staff are being urged to check their emails and the college's website to see how their individual departments are impacted
