Cork Beo reports that at least 34 staff at Reardens and The Oliver Plunkett have been informed that the group have been forced to reduce their opening hours due to a lack of customer demand at the moment.
The outlet says the staff who mainly work in the bars kitchens were sent a letter to say management will be able to roster shifts for them when opening hours are extended again.
The affected staff were also told that they may be rostered in the case of a large booking or event.
