Staff at an engineering company in White's Cross, which is contracted by Gas Networks Ireland, will go on all-out-strike from tomorrow morning.
SIPTU says it's after last-ditch talks with management at GMC Civil and Mechanical Engineering collapsed.
The union says it supports the workers' attempt to secure a pay increase - to mitigate against the cost of living crisis.
GMC Engineering is contracted by Gas Networks Ireland to install, maintain and provide emergency cover on the network.
Staff will act to make a situation safe however they won't carry out repairs to the network during the dispute.
