A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued by Met Éireann.
It will come in to effect from 9 o'clock tonight and will last until midday tomorrow.
A national weather advisory is also in place for disruptive wet and windy conditions until 7pm on Monday.
Emer Flood of Met Éireann says tonight will be particularly wet in most parts of the Country:
"The spell of rain on Saturday night and Sunday morning - that looks like it will be very heavy in some places, and could lead to localised flooding. We're unsure exactly where the heaviest falls will be, as of yet, so we've issued a Ywllow Level Rainfall Warning for all of Ireland from Saturday 9pm to Sunday midday, as really anywhere in the country is likely to see some heavy rain at times during that time period".
