Students from St Colman's College in Fermoy have been crowned 'Medtronic National Champions' at the finals of this year's 'F1 in Schools' competition.
The team beat over 60 other teams from secondary schools around the country during the day-long event in Salthill, Galway.
Over 700 students took part in the competition.
'F1 in Schools' is a global STEM competition in which students design, build and race their very own miniature Formula One Car.
The competition is now in its 16th year in Ireland and aims to encourage students to consider careers in STEM,
The winning team of Mark Callanan, Darragh Casey, Colm Clancy, Jamie Dineen, Quentin Joyce and Fionn O'Connell will now represent Ireland at the 2022 'F1 in Schools' World Finals later this year.
