Sunseekers are being advised to book their summer holidays now as prices are only going to rise
The lack of availability of jets is leading to strong demand and not enough seats
Airbus are being grounded because of an engine recall and Boeing cannot produce the numbers that they want to because of safety reasons.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Travel writer Eoghan Corry says the best advice is to book now as prices are only going one way and that's up
"Book now, jump now as the prices are not coming down. It's pretty basic, Junior cert economics, where the supply of seats exceeds the demand, the prices are going to be low, when the demand exceeds the supply of seats available for the summer, the prices are going to be high. That's basically what Michael O'Leary was saying to a group of British journalists who came over last week and he'll be saying something similar at a press conference tomorrow"
