The Housing Minister has designated the Bandon - Kinsale Local Electoral Area as a Rent Pressure Zone
The moves comes on foot of the publication of the Residential Tenancies Board's Rent Index Report
Minister Darragh O'Brien says the report indicates that the Local Electoral Area of Bandon - Kinsale meet the criteria so he has signed a Ministerial Order designating it as a Rent Pressure Zone
This means that rents in the area cannot be increased by more than 4% per annum
