It will replace the traditional Leeside festival this year due to the Covid-19 outbreak

The popular arts and culture festival, which usually takes place in June, sees theatre and dance events, literature readings, and visual art across the City Centre.

The Echo reports that while the traditional festival format may be cancelled this year, there is still a planned programme of events for people to enjoy from June 10th to 21st.

This year's Midsummer Moments will include a live theatre performance from Corcadorca which people can view from their gardens, a number of online films and art galleries, and a virtual DJ set from RedFM's own Stevie G.
