West Cork based Social Democrats TD Holly Cairns says real change needs to come:
"This does feel like kind of a watershed moment and for that to actually wait for this to actually be a watershed moment we need to see tangible actions from the Government on this and we need action in relation to refuge spaces for domestic violence. We've heard a lot about the Instanbul convention last few days. And we need sex education reform and we need to look at our legal system our justice system in relation to sexual violence."
