Speaking to RedFM News, the Lord Mayor of Cork City, Cllr Colm Kelleher says it's great that Leesiders are seeing a return to normality:
"Great news for Cork City, great news for the region as a whole. We'll be welcoming Ed Sheeran back to Leeside and back to Páirc Uí Chaoimh next year. It's been a long time coming. I attended his last concert down the park, and it was absolutely amazing. I know he's doing a series of concerts. It's great news because, you know, we're getting back to normality, and it's great to have these gigs coming back to Leeside."
