Norma Foley was at the site of The Carrigtwohill Community Campus yesterday.
The campus off Station Road will be home to two primary schools and a secondary school that will cater for around 1,000 students.
Each of the primary schools will have 24 classrooms and all three schools will have dedicated units for students with Special Educational Needs.
Very pleased to turn the sod at the multi-million-euro development in Carrigtwohill with @JamesOConnorTD @davidstantontd @padraigosull @patbuckleysfme and public reps. This is the most ambitious project undertaken by the Dept. and I look forward to the works completing at pace. pic.twitter.com/nUE2jRNJW4
