It's to discuss plans for a controversial rent hike at five UCC owned student apartment complexes
The meeting follows calls for the rent hike to be scrapped and comes as the Union enter day two of their Occupy The Quad protest.
Around 25 students slept in tents on the quad last night to protest the 3% increase, which they describe as unfair and unwarranted.
A spokesperson for UCC says current campus accommodation rates are significantly below the rates charged by private operators and that all profits are reinvested into the accommodation complexes.
