- A man's been arrested following a two-car collision on the north side of the city. A man in his 50's and a woman in her 60s were taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries, following the incident on Bakers Road in Gurranabraher at approximately 2pm yesterday afternoon.
- Former US President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew are among the names appearing in newly-released court documents, related to Jeffrey Epstein. The papers follow a civil case that accuser Virginia Giuffre brought against the convicted paedophile's ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.
- College students are set to benefit from an increase with a maintenance grant of up to 350 euro from next week. The Student Assistance Fund will also receive a once off rise of 1.4 million euro to help ease cost of living pressures for families with children going to third level.
