Drivers are urged to slow down this morning after heavy rainfall in places overnight. A Status Orange rain warning remains in place for Cork and Kerry until midday - with a yellow alert also in effect for Waterford and Galway.

There's been a collision in Leap in West Cork and emergency services are at the scene.

High tide has passed in the city with no major flooding on low-lying quays. There is still localised flooding in parts.

Meanwhile, the county council says Ardcahan Bridge in Dunmanway is flooded and impassable.

A fourth case of measles has been confirmed in Ireland. It follows three other cases in recent weeks including one on a flight from Abu Dhabi.
