Gardaí are continuing to question a man in connection with the hijacking of a car in Dublin's north inner city, that had a baby in the back seat. It led to a child rescue alert being issued on Monday afternoon, after the car was stolen from Mountjoy Square.

The family of 23 year old man who died five days after he got a Covid vaccine have told an inquest that they just want to establish the truth about what happened to him. Roy Butler of O’Reilly Road in Waterford died on the 17th of August, 2021 at Cork University Hospital.
