A 36 year old woman who was attacked outside the Savoy on Patrick's Street has died. Vanessa O'Callaghan who was availing of the Kindness Krew soup run on Sunday night was assaulted by 3 people.

A 34-year old man has been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of his 8 year old daughter in Co. Wexford. Mohammad Shaker Al Tamimi was also charged with the attempted murder of the girl's mother when he appeared in court last night.
