The free school meals scheme cannot be allowed to slip as the cost of living crisis becomes more severe.
That's according to Cork TD Donnchadh O Laoghaire, who says the scheme is vitally important to vulnerable families across the county.
Raising the issue in the Dáil this week, the Sinn Féin TD spoke about a Cork primary school losing the provider of it's school meal programme.
