A 37-year-old man, who was convicted of harassing a woman, has had his appeal quashed.
Shane O'Driscoll received a six month suspended sentence in July 2019 for harassing the woman over a nearly 2-year period on Cape Clear Island.
Both the conviction and the sentence length were upheld.

An Organisation representing the Music & Entertainment industry has slammed new ticketing plans for Nightclubs as a 'total betrayal'.
In a tweet late last night the M.E.A.I. said the guidelines published yesterday evening, are not those that had been sent to the industry earlier.
Late night venues will have to be ticketed, with tickets sold in advance.
The new guidelines will not be impact the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival as they will not come into force until next weekend.

A 34-year old asylum seeker has ended his hunger strike.
Indian born, Nadim Hussain, currently lives in the Kinsale Road Direct Provision Centre.
He went on hunger strike on the 14th October, after his application to be granted refugee status was refused.
