A €78 million expansion of The West Cork Carbery Group’s facilities in Ballineen has been completed.
The new mozzarella plant is now operational and producing a new range of cheese products under the ‘Carbery Dairy’ brand.
The investment will see the Group’s output increase from 55,000 tonnes per annum to 64,000
The Group will initially be focusing exports on customers in Asia, including China and Japan, and mainland Europe.
