Theft In Cork City Has Fallen Dramatically Over The Past 12 Months

That's according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office

The Echo reports a significant drop in crime on Anglesea Street, with 1,144 thefts in 2018 dropping to 916 last year.

The numbers show a simiar pattern right across the City, with a drop from 473 incidents of theft in the Bridewell district dropping to 420 last year.

Crosshaven had the least amount of theft last year with 24 incidents, followed by Passage West and Blarney.
