There is unease in Castletownbere about the proposed closure of a residential centre for people with intellectual disabilities.
Three people live in the Beara CoAction House which is set to close, at least temporarily, next month.
According to today's Echo, it is planned that the three residents will be rehomed in CoAction houses in Bantry and Skibbereen.
CoAction told the paper that the closure was a last resort, necessitated by its inability to recuit staff.
It is hoped the three residents concerned can return to their Beara home if staff can be recuited.
