Thousands will flock to the city over the weekend for the Cork St. Patrick's Festival.
Over 50 thousand are expected to attend the parade on Bank Holiday Monday which will feature over 3000 performers led by the Kabin Krew and MC'd by RedFM's KC.
A range of events will take place right across the weekend including a Ceili Mór at City Hall and family fun at Elizabeth Fort.
Cork City Council Event Co-Ordinator Marcella Whealan Kelly told RedFM News a range of activities celebrating Irish culture are on offer across the weekend:
"For the parade day itself, we expect about 50,000 people. it's a bit weather dependent, but so far so good, the sun seems to be looking to shine. There's a huge range of events, and we're delighted to be able to program some of them ourselves. and then there are events that the venues and events, people across the city have been putting on as well."
