Gardaí are continuing to investigate an alleged stabbing and assault in Cork yesterday evening.
Emergency services brought a teenage boy and two teenage girls to Cork University Hospital after the attack in the Brooklodge Square area of Glanmire.
There are reports a blade and a blunt object were used in the incident, however Gardaí say the injuries sustained by the teenagers are not life-threatening.
Local councillor Ger Keohane is appealing to witnesses to come forward:
"If there is anyone that has information, contact the local Gardaí in Glanmire. We don’t know what caused the incident but we are calling for calm. This is totally unnecessary, this level of violence."
