A well known businesswoman in Youghal says Tina Satchwell’s family need closure following the latest development in the long running case.
A comprehensive search of a house in the town is continuing this afternoon following the arrest of a man in his 50s yesterday evening.
It’s understood the search will involve a dig in the garden, while interior elements of the house such as the ceiling, walls and floors will also be examined and taken apart if needed over the coming days.
Speaking to RedFM News Kay Curtin from Kay's Flowers says everyone in the town is thinking of Tina’s family:
"I think really the mood of everybody this morning is- they're thinking, they're hoping that she will be found for the family's sake, you know. It's six and a half years now going on seven the 20th of March, I mean everybody is really sad, you know."
