€44,000 worth of tobacco has been seized at Cork Airport with the help of a revenue detector dog.
75kgs of the 'Amber Leaf' brand was found in the checked baggage of three Irish nationals who arrived back from Alicante in Spain.
The tobacco would have represented a loss of almost €37,000 to the exchequer.
